The
model CM132 executes the end-machining by using 6 spindles (3
each side) which are positioned and controlled by the NC unit on two
axis (“X” and “Z” axis) each side.
It can be used to execute facing (by milling), chamfering,
neck turning, centering, drilling and tapping on bars, forges and
moulds.
Engineered
to meet today's needs of higher productivity and accuracy in order
to simplify the end machining operations, this model combines power
and rigidity with the availability of an integrated loading/unloading
device and with a Control Panel conceived for an easy and friendly
programming.
The
standard version of CM132 is equipped with two opposed units,
each one of them includes one spindle ISO50 and two spindles ISO40,
all spindles are equipped with hydraulic unclamping device.
Each working unit is mounted on an independent cast iron
saddle which is moved above integral hardened steel guideways by
means of precision ballscrews and Brushless motors.
The units can be moved on the longitudinal (Z) and
transversal (X) NC axis .
The
bed is manufactured of a thick section heavy duty steel plate,
electro-welded and normalized, and above it are fixed the two
guideways. The
steel bed has been expressively designed with internal evacuation
chutes in order to convey the chips towards the integrated conveyor.
Hydraulically
clamped self-centering jaws are mounted on the same guideways where
the saddles are positioned and moved, they allow the clamping of a
wide diameter variety of workpieces without changing the vice-jaws.
The longitudinal positioning of the jaws is obtained thanks
to the hooking to the working units and to the displacement in
manual mode.
The
machine is provided with a full metal sheet enclosure guarding and
with sliding doors equipped with emergency micro switch.
It is also pre-arranged for connection to a Robot or to other
types of automation conceived for the loading/unloading of
workpieces.
