The
model MC7 is one of the family of “machining centers for
extremities”, as its units work on the 3 NC axis. It is mainly used for the execution of internal/external
threading on the extremities of tubes thanks to the interpolation of
the 3 axis.
Engineered
to meet today's needs of higher productivity and accuracy in order
to simplify the end machining operations, this model combines power
and rigidity with the availability of an integrated loading/unloading
device and with a CNC unit Fanuc.
The
MC7 is equipped with two opposed units; each one of them
includes one spindle with nose ISO40 with hydraulic rapid unclamping
device and it is moved on the longitudinal (Z), transversal (X) and
vertical (Y) NC axis. A
further NC axis is used for the longitudinal displacement of the
right end working unit.
The
bed is manufactured of a thick section heavy duty steel plate,
electro-welded and normalized and it has been expressively designed
with internal evacuation chutes in order to convey the chips towards
the integrated conveyor
Hydraulically
clamped self-centering jaws are mounted on the same guideways where
the saddles are positioned and moved, they allow the clamping of a
wide diameter variety of workpieces without changing the vice-jaws.
The longitudinal positioning of the jaws is obtained thanks
to the hooking to the working units and to the displacement in
manual mode.
The
machine is provided with a full metal sheet enclosure guarding and
with sliding doors equipped with emergency micro switch.
It is also pre-arranged for connection to a Robot or to other
types of automation conceived for the loading/unloading of
workpieces.
